Situated in the heart of Istanbul’s fascinating, magnetic and mysterious old town (on the site where the Byzantine Magnaura Palace once presided, and in what was family house from Ottoman times) we believe in maintaining our historic links with the past. Drawing on the arts of traditional Ottoman and Byzantine cooking and the southeastern region’s unrivaled delicious kebabs, we’ve added modern Turkish twists to our menu together with some cosmopolitan favourites of today’s international cuisines.
From sumptuous starters, fresh salads, pasta dishes, special options for children, vegan and vegetarian dishes, to main courses centered on succulent meats and seafood specialties, and our unique in-house designed puddings and desserts, we lovingly and carefully prepare our meals to cater for every individual palate. This means using the highest quality ingredients possible (fresh, delicious and traceable in source), and preparing them fresh. Our belief in traditional Turkish hospitality and excellent service is reflected by waiting staff who want you to enjoy the highest quality food experiences. Open every day of the year, we also provide traditional Ottoman meat and kebab menus, cooked on an open fire, served on hot skillets and hot plates with accompanied salads and vegetables. We’re also open late for special events including Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
